Brian Haydin 0 minutes 12 seconds Let’s just give it a minute or two to see if. Brian Haydin 0 minutes 16 seconds Give people a chance to join here. Brian Haydin 0 minutes 20 seconds Good to have you here. Brian Haydin 0 minutes 58 seconds Well, first and foremost, thanks for joining today. Brian Haydin 1 minute 1 second We’re gonna be talking about developer productivity, leveraging AI and. Brian Haydin 1 minute 8 seconds If you have first a little bit of ground rules, if you have any questions, drop them in the chat. Brian Haydin 1 minute 12 seconds We’ll have somebody monitoring them and this is the first time that I’ve done a webinar where I think I’m gonna be popping back and forth between. Brian Haydin 1 minute 24 seconds A couple of different screens so I wanna get people a little bit of a flavor of. Brian Haydin 1 minute 29 seconds The different tools that are out there and what you can do with it. Brian Haydin 1 minute 31 seconds So if things get a little janky, apologize in advance. Brian Haydin 38 minutes 46 seconds Was good at, but last year at build I was pretty impressed with what they were doing. Brian Haydin 38 minutes 53 seconds You know, when I was visiting with them and recently they’ve had some other new announcements. Brian Haydin 39 minutes Like the Juni coding assistant. Brian Haydin 39 minutes 4 seconds Updates and what it’s capable of doing and it doesn’t lock you into a specific generative LLM. So you can start using different models with that as well. Brian Haydin 39 minutes 15 seconds And then Microsoft is really investing a lot in the dev op space. Brian Haydin 39 minutes 20 seconds So I think you’re gonna see announcements coming out on a, you know, biweekly or monthly basis around what’s what’s there. Then the last thing I thought I’d bring up is the quantum computing. Brian Haydin 39 minutes 32 seconds Microsoft just announced that they had a that they made a very significant technological. Brian Haydin 39 minutes 40 seconds Advancement in in quantum computing and showcase the release of their. Brian Haydin 39 minutes 45 seconds Quantum chip. Brian Haydin 39 minutes 47 seconds Uh, I’ve been reading quite a bit about this and this is like similar to my feelings about deep seek. Brian Haydin 39 minutes 53 seconds And whether how revolutionary that that really was, I think that the quantum computing isn’t quite here yet. Brian Haydin 40 minutes 1 second It’s not like in six months you’re gonna be able to go out and buy this quantum chip. Brian Haydin 40 minutes 6 seconds But and there’s, you know, some serious, significant debate going on in the marketplace about if what Microsoft talked about is actually real. Brian Haydin 40 minutes 15 seconds So I don’t think we’ve actually really seen it in action. Brian Haydin 40 minutes 19 seconds And until we do, I think it’s not so much vaporware, but it’s an exciting announcement. Brian Haydin 40 minutes 25 seconds I know there’s other companies that have had news have been in the news recently about their advancements in quantum computing as well, and I think that’s, you know, that generally speaking, that’s right around the corner. Brian Haydin 40 minutes 38 seconds And So what about my predictions? You know, what do I think is gonna happen in 2025? Brian Haydin 40 minutes 46 seconds So I think that you’re gonna see things like Co developers become a reality. Brian Haydin 40 minutes 51 seconds I watched a video a couple days ago shared with everybody in the team about Manis AI and it was just absolutely mind blowing. Brian Haydin 40 minutes 59 seconds And if you haven’t seen it yet, go take a look at Manus. Brian Haydin 41 minutes 3 seconds You know, long waiting list, couple million people to get into it. Brian Haydin 41 minutes 6 seconds But take a look at what it’s able to do. Brian Haydin 41 minutes 8 seconds It demonstrated to me that there really is going to be autonomous pair programmers. Brian Haydin 41 minutes 16 seconds I’m going to be able to write out some user stories and ask my copilot. Brian Haydin 41 minutes 21 seconds Just go do this thing. Brian Haydin 41 minutes 23 seconds Submit a poll request and we’ll review it together later. Brian Haydin 41 minutes 26 seconds So I think you’re going to see Co developer Co development start to become a reality this year. And look, it’d be widely adopted, but I think it’s going to be a reality. Brian Haydin 41 minutes 35 seconds And then you’re gonna see more maturity. Brian Haydin 41 minutes 39 seconds In probably a build, you’re gonna see some fantastic news come out around the low code tools. Brian Haydin 41 minutes 44 seconds So power automate copilot studio. I would expect to see some of those tools start to work together a little bit more seamlessly, maybe even Co branded. Brian Haydin 41 minutes 55 seconds But the general expectation is that you’re not gonna need a software engineer. Brian Haydin 41 minutes 59 seconds Or even more than a business analyst to create low code environments. Brian Haydin 42 minutes 3 seconds You’ll see more natural language coding. Brian Haydin 42 minutes 6 seconds Start to evolve and then and then more. Brian Haydin 42 minutes 13 seconds More DevOps. Brian Haydin 42 minutes 13 seconds More DevOps, more DevOps. Brian Haydin 42 minutes 15 seconds Most of these things are most of the DevOps processes are things that guess there are individuals who are specialized in it, but they are things that are easily automated through AI. And so we’re gonna see a lot of developments in that that space. Brian Haydin 42 minutes 32 seconds Most importantly, I think that you’re just gonna see happier developers. Brian Haydin 42 minutes 36 seconds They’re gonna be able to focus on the harder problems. Brian Haydin 42 minutes 39 seconds I think what did I I used in the office to quote myself, was probably a lot less programmer, analysts and a lot more software engineering roles are gonna be available by the end of 2025. Brian Haydin 42 minutes 57 seconds Here’s the GitHub free plan. Brian Haydin 42 minutes 58 seconds There’s the numbers that I was talking about 2000 AI generated code completions for per month 50 chat queries per month at no cost. Brian Haydin 43 minutes 7 seconds So it’s not. Brian Haydin 43 minutes 9 seconds You know it’s going to have some limitations. Brian Haydin 43 minutes 10 seconds Maybe if you’re going to use a free account, be a little bit conscientious of what you’re asking it because you run out a day. I would say that most of our developers run through 50 chat queries a day anyways. Brian Haydin 43 minutes 23 seconds But hey, if you’re just looking to get started, or if you don’t do a ton of programming every day. Brian Haydin 43 minutes 28 seconds Great way to get you know your feet wet and figure out how that works. Brian Haydin 43 minutes 33 seconds Let’s talk a little bit about how concurrency can help you. Brian Haydin 43 minutes 35 seconds What are some of the next steps? Brian Haydin 43 minutes 37 seconds So basically, let’s let’s take some of these steps together. Brian Haydin 43 minutes 43 seconds You know, concurrency’s offering free workshops, assessments. Brian Haydin 43 minutes 46 seconds We can come in and do some ideation with you. Brian Haydin 43 minutes 49 seconds Take a look at what you know, what you’re currently using AI for today. Brian Haydin 43 minutes 55 seconds And so reach out to us if you wanna take that next step. Brian Haydin 43 minutes 59 seconds Definitely. If you have an idea where you want to leverage pilot or pilot like some AI workloads or just how am I going to do this concurrency’s got some experience in depth that we can help you there. Brian Haydin 44 minutes 13 seconds And then. Brian Haydin 44 minutes 14 seconds You know, definitely empower your team. Brian Haydin 44 minutes 17 seconds We can help with some of the coaching on that as well. Brian Haydin 44 minutes 20 seconds So how can? How can concurrency help with that? Brian Haydin 44 minutes 23 seconds We have a couple different momentum programs to encourage users to start. Brian Haydin 44 minutes 29 seconds Using some of these AI tools like M365 and I’d love to talk with you a little bit more about that and see, you know, see if there’s, you know any any challenges or any feedback how your team’s using it. Brian Haydin 44 minutes 41 seconds I’d love to do it. Brian Haydin 44 minutes 42 seconds And then last but not least, this isn’t really a concurrency action. Brian Haydin 44 minutes 46 seconds It’s an action on you. Brian Haydin 44 minutes 47 seconds Get out there. Brian Haydin 44 minutes 48 seconds Do something you know. Brian Haydin 44 minutes 50 seconds Start using these tools and they have fun with it. Brian Haydin 44 minutes 53 seconds Let AI turbo charge your development. Brian Haydin 44 minutes 57 seconds And I’ll stick around for a minute or two if there’s any questions we can do a little Q&A. Brian Haydin 45 minutes 2 seconds Otherwise, thanks for joining us today. Brian Haydin 45 minutes 4 seconds Really had a great time.
