Blocking Spam Calls in Microsoft Teams

I seem to be getting an enormous number of unsolicited calls from spam sales people at my Microsoft Teams account at work. This is really annoying because it interrupts the meeting I’m on with simultaneous calls to both my laptop and mobile device, pulling the bluetooth headset between both. Well… although I can’t fix that entirely, I did discover a great feature called “block calls with no caller ID” in the Microsoft Teams interface that lets you at least do that. This feature has cut down the annoying calls at least 25% – 50% on a given day, which is a plus. If you want to enable it as well, check here:

First, click on your picture and go to “manage account”. From here you’ll find “privacy” where you can select under blocked contacts, “block calls with no caller ID”.
