Tell us about your current role and your journey here at Concurrency thus far?
My current role is Regional Delivery Director for the Illinois region, but I started out as a Technical Architect about 4 years ago in our Cloud Datacenter practice. After joining Concurrency, I was fortunate to engage with one of our larger global manufacturing clients. I had the opportunity to lead them through a transformational datacenter migration to Azure that included a business divestiture. As a result of this successful engagement, and subsequent work with other customers to help them to adopt technologies, our organization was abl eto grow to the point of allowing me the opportunity to help our organization deliver on several disciplines for our customers here in Illinois.

What does being a Change Agent mean to you?
What being a Change Agent means to me is realizing the opportunity to help businesses, empower their people, and empower their organizations to change the way that they deliver technologies or the way that they work.  I get to help drive changes that it dramatically improves their abilities. It is about helping companies realize the desire to collaborate as a single organization in ways that they’ve never been able to do before.  I get to empower an organization to deliver solutions faster, cheaper, better, and solve problems quicker. Having those capabilities can dramatically change the landscape of an organization. Participating in introducing technologies and capabilities that really improve their operations, or reduce operational costs, or allowing them to align their resources with more strategic and revenue-generating initiatives are all very exciting things! As an Agent of Change at Concurrency, it’s like a backstage pass in helping these companies realize these dreams about how they want their organizations to work.

What inspires you and/or how is the work you are doing positively impacting organizations?
What inspires me is people that can envision a future beyond the immediate for their organization. I’m inspired by people who dream big. We often work with things that are very tactical, but it’s strategizing with partners that dream big which is very exciting and that’s really the thing that inspires me. Helping an organization to realize those big dreams, or even to realize the steps along the way. Helping them to see how that changes their organization in its direction, in its growth, and its ability to engage employees, is a fun and energizing thing. I’ve seen customers really start to understand and see the vision and realize the benefits of these things. It really can change people’s outlook on their own internal organization, the solutions and technologies, and the parts of their business that they have engaged

Come Be a Change Agent.
