"Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification validates IT professional and developer technical expertise through rigorous, industry-proven, and industry-recognized exams. MCP exams cover a wide range of Microsoft products, technologies, and solutions."

With the opportunities afforded to me at Concurrency, I was able to take and pass the Microsoft MD-100 Exam. Using a combination of learning tools such as PluralSight, Quizlet, and Microsoft's Learning site, I was able to fill the gaps in my knowledge and pass the MD-100 on my first attempt. After taking this exam, I've learned about what to expect for exams in the future and the process of taking the exam itself.

For those who will be attempting the MD-100 I personally recommend studying NTFS permissions, Windows permissions, Group Policies, Delivery Optimization, Powershell commands, AutoPilot, LAPS, and Bitlocker. This exam tends to focus mostly on managing and configuring Windows devices, which in my opinion is extremely important for desktop administrators and those who will be managing small or large environments.

I would also recommend the following links, both are collections of resources that will not only help those that are studying for the test, but also will help those who are trying to learn more about Deploying, Managing, Configuring, and Maintaining Windows devices.
