WHAT YOUR COMPANY ATTRIBUTES ITS SUCCESSFUL GROWTH TO? “Concurrency’s rapid growth in the last few years is a direct result of our work to help customers with their digital transformation, the integration of digital technologies such as social, mobile, analytics and cloud, in the service of transforming how their businesses work. Over the last four years, Concurrency has hired aggressively, including senior software developers, systems architects, project managers, and recruiters to help guide the company’s expansion in Chicago and Minneapolis. We have found innovative ways to connect with clients and fuel our growth. Those include partnering with Microsoft to sponsor educational events and webinars for customers. Our company philosophy emphasizes knowledge sharing. In our view, these events spread good ideas in the marketplace, and those ideas often lead to engagements. We also continue to expand our use of social advertising, digital adverting, retargeting and email to reach the right people with the right message.”

MAIN CHALLENGES OVERCOME IN ACHIEVING YOUR GROWTH? “At present, our main challenge is managing growth as we continue expanding our solution groups, deepen our relationship with Microsoft and guide clients through their digital maturation. We are committed to keeping our competitive edge by continuing to hire the best people and eliminate barriers to communication. In November 2015, Concurrency moved to our new headquarters, a 30,000-square-foot office building in Brookfield’s Bishops Woods office park, which was carefully designed to meet the specific needs of our various teams and create a unique space for area businesses to come in for a complimentary Customer Immersion Experience (CIE), a hands-on introduction to Microsoft’s suite of productivity tools.”
WHAT ARE YOUR FIRM’S PLANS FOR CONTINUING ITS GROWTH? “We have invested in office space and employees in locations that offer the company the most consistent and profitable growth based on our offerings and expertise. Milwaukee, Chicago, Minneapolis and Indianapolis allow us to leverage our existing strengths and satisfy the needs of mid-market companies and global enterprises. We are actively engaged in helping organizations take advantage of cloud computing, which represents significant new opportunities for them to reduce costs and improve productivity and security. As we look toward the next five years, we will continually evaluate the quality of new markets and the local talent to base growth decisions. We expect to expand our business into two new geographies in that time frame.”
