BROOKFIELD, WI—January 10, 2017— Two Concurrency, Inc. consultants were awarded by Microsoft on January 3 as Microsoft MVPs. Drew Madelung was named an MVP in the Office Servers and Services category in recognition of his work in Office 365 and SharePoint. Bill Hughes won in the Enterprise Mobility category in honor of his work on Identity and Access solutions.

Microsoft honors MVP winners “for their technical expertise, community leadership, and voluntary community contributions for the previous year.” Concurrency is now home to 14 Microsoft MVPs.

“We are aware of no other professional services organization in the world with a greater number of Microsoft MVPs than here at Concurrency,” said Nathan Lasnoski, Vice President of Solutions.

Lasnoski said, “The traits that earned Drew and Bill this honor are ones we believe all consultants should embody—pursuit of excellence, sharing of knowledge in the community, and engagement with the Microsoft product team.”

Both Drew and Bill have honed their expertise over the course of many engagements with Concurrency clients. In addition, Concurrency provides support for training, conference attendance, and other opportunities to advance in knowledge and service to the community.

Drew has been heavily engaged in the SharePoint and Office365 community with speaking, product group interaction, and forum participation. He has held speaking slots at SPTEchCon, SharePoint Saturday events and others like it around the country.

Likewise, Bill is highly involved in the community through speaking, the local Skype user group, workshops, and boot camps. Bill is also closely involved with the Identity and Access product groups at Microsoft.
